Code of Conduct

March 30, 2016 by Web

Below are some important guidelines that we kindly ask our guests to familiarise themselves with. By reading and signing your registration card at check-in, you are agreeing to abide by our policies during your stay.

Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited within guest bedrooms and common areas, including our outdoor courtyard. Consideration must be given to other guests and the hosts, and anyone found in breach of our no-smoking policy may be asked to vacate their room and the premises. Extra penalties will be incurred for deep cleaning of room / bed linen and removal of cigarette odours. No refund of stay will be given if guest is asked to leave.

Guest Behaviour
Guests shall behave appropriately and with discretion at all times. Our establishment is a private residence and guests are asked to respect the personal space of the hosts. If you’re unsure if anything, it is courteous to check with the hosts first. Our facilities are for all guests to enjoy and care must be taken to respect the infrastructure. In particular, furniture should not be moved and nothing may be fixed to furniture or walls. Guests are expected to keep their rooms and public areas clean and tidy at all times.

Noise
Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am. During this time, guests shall be particularly considerate and refrain from any conduct that could disturb others. Our rooms are close together and noise travels very easily so please respect the comfort of other guests and the hosts by keeping televisions, music, conversation and other noise to a minimum, especially late at night.

Damage to Property
Please report any damage or breakages to us. We understand that accidents can happen but failure to inform us will result in instant charges to the credit card on file. Please refrain from using hair dye or tanning products in rooms and bathrooms. These substances stain the tile grout, basins and linen and can be very difficult to remove. Other prohibited substances include massage oils, oil sprays and candles, which may cause damage to soft furnishings, linen and towels. Please take care when removing make-up and ensure that our towels are not used in this process (face flannels are provided in all en-suite bathrooms). We reserve the right to charge cleaning fees as appropriate, for removal of stains or replacement of damaged or broken items.

Visitors & Extra Occupants
Only registered guests are permitted on the premises, other than for brief, authorised visits. No overnight visitors are allowed. Any unregistered guests found to be occupying a room will be asked to leave.

Personal Belongings
Proper care should be taken of personal valuables and belongings. City Quarters on Brewer cannot be held responsible for any theft, loss or damage.

Missing Keys
Missing keys are a security issue and these must be returned to the host upon departure (or left in your bedroom door if checking out early). Lost keys or those not returned to us will result in a $20.00 charge for a replacement set.
